RBI Grade B Exam: Online Application 2024
The dates for the online application process for RBI Grade B 2024 exam will be notified with the release of RBI Grade B Notification 2024.
The candidates have to submit online application forms to get register themself for the RBI Grade B Exam 2024. All candidates who are interested in applying for RBI Grade B 2024 exam have to fill out the online application before the last date arrives.
RBI Grade B Exam: Application Fees 2024
A total of Rs. 850/- is the application fee to be paid by candidates belonging to the General and OBC Categories for RBI Grade B 2024 exam.
The same amount is reduced to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD Category.

RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria 2024
You should fulfil the following criteria, as prescribed by RBI recruitment notification, to apply for the exam:
1) Age Eligibility
- You must be above the age of 21 years but must not have touched the 30th year of your life.
- If you have an M.Phil. or a Ph.D. degree, the upper age limits are 32 and 34 years respectively.
- If you belong to the SC/ST category, there is a provision for relaxation of the upper age limit up to 5 years.
2) RBI Grade B Officers (General) Educational Qualification Requirements
- You should have 60% marks in Graduation (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants)
- Post Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years.
Many students ask if 60% marks in graduation should be in each semester or average. Well, relax, it’s an average of all semesters.

Now, I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again. No good thing comes without terms and conditions, and the terms are pretty steep in this case given that the eligibility Criteria are just a nice little time bomb wrapped in very sweet packaging.
I say that because the criterion of educational qualification is as I said a steep one as far as the RBI Grade B exams are concerned. It’s steeper than that of most other Indian government entrance exams, even steeper than ones prescribed for the UPSC exam.
RBI Grade B Exam 2024: Selection Process
RBI Grade B 2024 Exam is conducted in three phases, while the Prelims examination is Objective in nature while the Mains examination comprises of the objective as well as descriptive test

RBI Grade B 2024: Exam Pattern
Candidates are required to clear all three phases in order to get a confirmed post as a Grade B Officer in the Reserve Bank of India.
RBI Grade B Prelims Exam Pattern
The prelims exam of RBI Grade-B Officer 2024 comprises a single Paper for 200 marks. A total time of 120 minutes will be given for answering. However, separate time will be allotted for each test.

Note:
- A total time of 120 minutes will be given for the prelim exam. However, separate time will be allotted for each test. Detailed information regarding the examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the call letter for RBI Grade B 2024 prelims exam.
- Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as in aggregate.

RBI Grade B Number of Attempts
The number of attempts for a general candidate to appear for the RBI Grade B Exam is 6 (six) while for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM there is no limit for appearing in the exam unless they reach the maximum age level.
RBI Grade B Salary Structure
The Pay Scale for the RBI Grade B Officer is Rs. 55,200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850(2)-86550-3300(4)-99750(16 years).
This means that you will be having basic pay of Rs. 55,200/- in which you will get an increment of Rs. 2850/- up to nine years of your service.
After the completion of nine years, you will get into the executive band wherein the basic pay will be Rs. 80850/- and then again for the next two years you will get an increment of Rs. 2850/- and further an increment of Rs. 3300/- for the following 4 years thus ending up with the basic pay of Rs. 99,750/- and this is when you don’t get any promotion.
Apart from the Basic Pay, multiple emoluments such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, Telephone Allowance, Conveyance Allowance etc. will also be provided.
